Comments from members of Space who have attended our regular drop-ins:
- Counselling is an opportunity to work one to one on a weekly basis on life issues that make our daily journey difficult.
- It’s often difficult talking to friends or family about the things that trouble us most. A counsellor can empower you to overcome your difficulties and give you space to express yourself.
- Counselling can also be a place to accept the things we cannot change.
- Our counsellors are all fully qualified or well into their training. All counsellors are members of BACP and receive supervision from qualified supervisors.
Every Monday morning we take a short walk around Aylesbury. The walk lasts approximately 2 hours, including a refreshment break. The group is open to anyone who would like to join us for a leisurely stroll.
Our Vale Park meetups run most Wednesdays during the summer (weather permitting).. A great chance to meet with a small group of people outdoors and chat.
Our Mindful Colouring Group runs on Wednesday afternoons at Queens Park Arts Centre Cafe, 2 – 3:30pm.
The Space choir started in 2017. We call ourselves ‘Voices in Harmony’. No previous experience of singing required and no auditions.
Research shows singing improves health and happiness. It also helps create community, increases confidence and is all round good fun.
Our choir is not currently running.
