DROP-INS

WE HAVE NEEDED TO ALTER THE WAY WE RUN OUR DROP-INS.

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, we are currently running virtual drop-ins.

These take place online and require an internet connection in order to access these group sessions.

The virtual drop-ins take place on:

Tuesdays : 11am – 12 noon

Fridays : 10:30am – 11:30am

Sundays : 2pm – 3pm

Please contact us if you would like to join our online drop-ins.

COUNSELLING

WE ARE CURRENTLY OFFERING COUNSELLING VIA TELEPHONE OR VIDEO CALL ONLY.

  • Counselling is an opportunity to work one to one on a weekly basis on life issues that make our daily journey difficult.
  • It’s often difficult talking to friends or family about the things that trouble us most. A counsellor can empower you to overcome your difficulties and give you space to express yourself.
  • Counselling can also be a place to accept the things we cannot change.
  • Our counsellors are all fully qualified or well into their training. All counsellors are members of BACP and receive supervision from qualified supervisors.

CHOIR

THE CHOIR SESSIONS ARE ON HOLD AT PRESENT, BUT WE HAVE BEEN TRIALLING AN ONLINE CHOIR.

The Space choir started in 2017. We call ourselves ‘Voices in Harmony’. We meet weekly on Tuesdays during term time at 7.30pm, at Church of Good Shepherd, Southcourt. No previous experience of singing required and no auditions.

Research shows singing improves health and happiness. It also helps create community, increases confidence and is all round good fun.

EVENTS

We hold a variety of fundraisers throughout the year. You can find regular updates on this site, see our calendar or our Facebook page.

Please contact us if you can help raise funds.

OUR FUNDRAISERS AND EVENTS ARE CURRENTLY ON HOLD, BUT WE ARE BUSIER THAN EVER.

SHORT WALK GROUP

WE WILL RESTART OUR WALKING GROUP IN SEPTEMBER.

Every Monday morning we take a short walk around Aylesbury. The walk lasts approximately 2 hours, including a refreshment break.

The group is open to anyone who would like to join us for a leisurely stroll.

Our walking group is now running again, split into groups of no more than 6 people.

Short Walk Group

art

We are hoping to resume our adult colouring group when we are able to return to Queens Park Arts Centre for our Wednesday drop-ins.

We also have plans to start an art group when normal activities resume.

In the mean time, Space members continue to create works of art, which can be found on our online gallery.

WE WILL RESUME OUR ADULT COLOURING GROUP & BEGIN OUR ART GROUP WHEN APPROPRIATE.
