With the busy Christmas period ahead, now seems like a good time to remind everyone about our regular Space Aylesbury weekly drop-ins.
Space (Aylesbury) hold 5 drop-ins a week. These drop-ins are a chance for people to meet others. Members can sit and chat over a hot drink with a biscuit or some fruit in a relaxed atmosphere.
Several of our drop-ins are focused around activities such as our Mindfulness Colouring group, held at Queens Park Arts Centre on Wednesday afternoons.
Our Tuesday and Thursday drop-ins include the opportunity to have a head and neck massage.
All drop-ins are facilitated by volunteers who are trained with listening skills so if anyone needs to talk privately and confidentially we have people who are willing to listen.
Via our drop-ins we aim to increase the overall wellbeing of our beneficiaries and reduce social isolation. We also offer volunteering opportunities which can help individuals to increase confidence and (re)gain life skills.
Our drop-ins are open to all regardless of faith, age, sex, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or disability.
